Port Atlantique Nantes - Saint-Nazaire

The Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port “Port Atlantique” is France’s 4th most important port, and number one on the Atlantic coast. It represents a major economical factor of Saint-Nazaire and the region. More than 3,000 ships anchor every year on the terminals of the Port Authority which represent some 2,700 hectares between Nantes and Saint-Nazaire. The guided tours, which leave by bus from the central ticket office in the submarine bunker, take visitors along the harbour installations that dot the Loire estuary, from the harbour basins in Saint-Nazaire to the oil refinery in Donges.
